The flag of over country furls ever high.
Thousands of wishes we get On Friendship Day,
None bothers to wish me Happy Independence Day!!
Someone just told me may be in fun,
That she forgot our National Anthem,
This thought alone stuck me!
And my silly wrapped mind,
Worried last night- 'this day should never come'.
Well am here to buzz you its 64th this year,
It’s not just a holiday it’s our Independence Day dear!!
Not asking for commitments,
Just give a ‘T’ of Time;
Open your heart and close your eyes,
And think how you can join...
Just think how you can join!!

nicely written...its a very important issue these days...the youth not giving respect to the country..they r gettin too western these days.I think India should start thinking about preserving its culture otherwise we soon will hve its identity n culture replaced by the west..hope this post must have moved a lotta freaks out there who r too western to think that they actually r not modern.;P..
